Hello, paRD people!
It’s finally Friday!!! Is it just me, or does it feel like the long weekends make the week go by so SLOW? It seems so backwards! Anywho…I am moving into a new room today and I am SO excited because I am going to have my very own bathroom. All the praise hands!
Since it is Friday, I thought I would share some of my Friday Favorites with you!
I am LOVING BeautyCounter so much! I had no idea about all of the chemicals in my makeup, so learning about BC was a game changer. I will tell you all about my favorite products in a later post!
2. Vital Proteins
I simply cannot go a day without my Vital Proteins collagen. I throw a heaping scoop into my smoothie every. single. morning. I really feel like since I started using it, I have better skin, stronger nails, and healthier hair. I’m a fan.
3. Parks & Rec
How did I not know about this when it first came out?! Oh my goodness. I absolutely love to put this on in the background while I am working on school assignments and I find myself laughing so hard. My roommates probably think I am crazy, but it’s all good 🙂 If you haven’t seen it before, I highly suggest you watch it!
4. Thrive Market
Thrive Market is AMAZING! They have so so so many great products at prices that are hard to beat! I started using Thrive a few months back and love it so much. You pay for an annual membership, but I have already made that up in savings! I have bought everything from nut butters and oatmeal to shampoo and cleansers. Follow my link at http://thrv.me/kakeatley and get 20% off your first 3 orders!
5. The Hole in Our Gospel
This is a book I was assigned to read for my class focusing on poverty and nutrition. I am only in the first few chapters, but it is SO good so far. It essentially discusses the importance of being willing and ready to give up everything to do what God commands of us. I don’t like to put myself in situations that are out of my comfort zone, but this book has been very convicting. Am I going to let the things of this world keep me from following God’s will for me? The Hole In Our Gospel explores the parts of Scripture we tend to overlook — particularly those involving poverty — and emphasizes the importance of knowing the WHOLE Gospel, not just a Gospel full of holes.
I hope y’all have an AMAZING Friday! It’s the WEEKEND!!!!
