Christmas 2017

Christmas 2017

Happy Tuesday, Friends!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas celebrating Jesus’ birth with family and friends.  This is my absolute favorite time of the year and while I am sad the Hallmark Christmas movies and twinkling lights are about to be done for the year, I am so excited to see what 2018 has in store.  For one, I will officially become an RD! Woohoo! I will also be starting my Master’s through The University of Alabama! Roll Tide!  Any who, I have a bunch of photos from Christmas, Christmas Eve and the days leading up to it.

Christmas Shopping & Cocoa

My Mom and I met my grandparents for some last minute shopping the Friday before Christmas. Surprisingly, the crowds weren’t bad at all!

Dinner of grilled lemon mustard chicken, Oh She Glows kale salad, and roasted sweet potatoes.

Leftovers were just as yummy!

Christmas Eve Eve Brunch Fun Christmas decor at Bay Local.

Bay Local is one of my favorite spots to grab brunch or lunch in VB.  I typically get the Avocado Toast, but I went for something different and ordered the lettuce wraps with grilled chicken.  Such a yummy choice!  It was so fresh and delicious!

We went to find my brother-in-law a sweater for Christmas after lunch, and found the perfect one! Nothing like last-minute shopping ;).

Christmas Eve

Leftover Zucchini Lasagna and Kale Salad…why are leftovers so yummy?! I remember absolutely hating leftovers when I was little.  What was I thinking?!

I also had some beet chips…still not a fan of raw beets, but when they are roasted or in chip form, I must say they are pretty darn good!

Homemade pizza and Christmas jammies are a yearly Christmas tradition I always look forward to!  I woke up Sunday morning with a sore throat and congestion, so instead of pizza, my Mom made me some spicy chicken soup, which definitely made me feel so much better.

I think these are my FAVORITE Christmas jammies yet! Christmas+Reindeer=Love

Christmas!Fried dough is a Christmas morning tradition in our house.  My grandma makes the dough and we fry it up and top with butter and cinnamon sugar.  Not the healthiest breakfast by any means, but hey, we only get it once a year!

Candid-ish photo of me and my pup 🙂

A Few of My Favorite Things

Anything and everything Nordstrom-related.

Ahava hand lotion

This lotion smells amazing and feels likes silk! My roommate got this lotion in her FabFitFun box, and after giving it a try, I was hooked.

Pun-ny tops

The “I don’t carrot all” top gave me a good laugh.

Nickel & Suede Earrings

img_8823I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nickel & Suede! Made out of leather and super lightweight, these darling accessories are the perfect addition to any outfit.  Oh, and they are made in the USA!

Christmas Eats

Christmas Roast with unpictured salad, carrots, broccoli, and homemade rolls.

Christmas snack of Fage+hemp hearts+chia+almond butter+Purely Elizabeth granola (with an apple on the side).

Have a wonderful Tuesday! I am off to relax and hang with the pups 🙂 I am going to have a hard time next year when I don’t have an extended Christmas break! #adulting
